Established in 2008 by the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association Foundation and is renewable for 3 additional years. The scholarship recognizes an outstanding student who might, without the scholarship, matriculate at another veterinary college.

My passion for veterinary medicine started when I was very young as I always wanted to help animals. Today, I am entering my 3rd year of veterinary school with the goal of helping those animals by being their voice, practicing good medicine, nurturing the human-animal bond, and being compassionate to both animals and their owners.
