Frederick Douglass Patterson Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship
Established in 2018 by the College of Veterinary Medicine to honor the personal merits and attributes of Patterson (DVM’23, MS’27) who served as the president of Tuskegee Institute and is the founder of the United Negro College Fund. Given to a student entering the professional DVM program with preference to underrepresented students. This scholarship may be renewed as long as the student remains in good standing.

My passion for veterinary medicine stems from my desire to advocate for animals in need and to be a resource for animal well-being. My career goal is to be board certified in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care.
