Established in 1998 by Gene and Muriel Zinn. Awarded to students with a primary interest in production animal medicine and based on leadership and academic potential.

Growing up on a livestock farm sparked my initial interest in the veterinary field and this same spark has continues to be fueled over the years by my experiences. My passion for agriculture and building relationships, coupled with my desire to care for animals, makes rural production animal practice a large focus for me.
