Leonard Kater Memorial Veterinary Medicine Scholarship – Victoria Woodard

Leonard Kater Memorial Veterinary Medicine Scholarship

Established in 1983 by Mrs. Leonard Kater in memory of her husband, Leonard Kater. The Katers had a great compassion for animals and Mrs. Kater felt that supporting students with that same compassion would be a fitting tribute to her husband. The scholarship is given to a student intending to specialize in small animal medicine and who has a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.

Victoria Woodard

Recipient: Victoria Woodard (VM2) – Elmira Heights, New York

I am interested in small animal medicine and am exploring the options of either a surgery or emergency residency.
