Merck Animal Health Award for Livestock Veterinary Students – Kathleen Roth

Merck Animal Health Award for Livestock Veterinary Students

Established in 2020 and awarded to a third-year veterinmary medicine student with an interest in food animal medicine.

Kathleen Roth

Recipient: Kathleen Roth (VM3) – Deshler, Nebraska

I chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine because it is a field that merges my scientific skills, love of medicine, and passion for animals. In the future, I hope to work in either a rural mixed practice or in small animal emergency medicine. I want to bring life to the community I live in by helping the animals residing there receive great medical care.
