Established in 2017 by the estate of Tyrone D. Artz, MD to help support students entering the College of Veterinary Medicine with first preference to residents of Kansas and second preference to Iowa high school graduates.

My passion for veterinary medicine started when I was a child and grew with every animal I cared for. I hope to one day work as a mixed animal veterinarian caring for many animals in need.
