Given to a student entering the professional DVM program with preference to underrepresented students. This scholarship may be renewed as long as the student remains in good standing.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/sa-2021\/Photos\/Frausto_David_web.jpg\" alt=\"David Frausto\" class=\"center-block sa_recipient_img\"><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div  class=\"text-center sa_recipient_info\"><b>Recipient: David Frausto (VM1) &#8211; West Covina, California <\/b>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"sa_passion_statement\">As a veterinarian, I intend to focus on shelter medicine where I can serve as a liaison for low income areas and educate these communities on animal welfare while providing veterinary services.
