Established in 2008 by the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association Foundation and is renewable for 3 additional years. The scholarship recognizes an outstanding student who might, without the scholarship, matriculate at another veterinary college.

I am passionate about becoming a laboratory animal veterinarian in order ensure the well-being and ethical treatment of animals used in research settings.
