Established by Geraldine S. Steele in 1998. Awarded to an Iowa resident with scholastic merit as the primary criteria. This award is renewed providing the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.00 and are in good standing.

I plan on being a mixed animal veterinarian. I am very passionate about both small animal and production animal medicine and hope to work at a clinic where I can incorporate both into my career.
