This scholarship was established in 2014 to honor Dr. Beenken and other practicing veterinarians who serve an important role as mentors and give students the ability to explore the veterinary profession and gain hands-on experience.

My career goals are to pursue a residency and specialize in something Zoo/exotics or small animal related. I look forward to narrowing down my passion as I advance through the curriculum.
