Established in 2018 by the Doris Day Animal Foundation to support students with an interest in animal welfare and shelter medicine.
Recipient: Katherine Brezina (VM4) – Cedar Rapids, Iowa
After graduating I hope to practice general small animal veterinary medicine! I hope to be able to increase access to care in my clinic, and through volunteering with shelters & outreach events.
