Established in 2000 by the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Association. Awarded to a full-time student from eastern Iowa who demonstrates good professional conduct and good character with an interest in general practice and who is actively engaged in college activities.

I grew up in a rural area working with animals and veterinarians. The veterinarians I worked with helped me grow my passion for animals and diagnostics.
