Established in 2015 by Dr. Edward J. Howes, a 1962 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine. It is based on a focus in large or mixed animal medicine.

I plan to pursue a career in food animal medicine with a focus on swine, dairy cattle, and small ruminant work. I would also like to incorporate work on population medicine and food safety.
