Established in 2000 by Karen Shaff and Steven Jayne to recognize the wonderful care and support they received from the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, for their beloved companion, Maggie. In particular, they wish to mention Dr. Elizabeth Goldman and Dr. Dena Franklin, a third-year student at the time of Maggie’s care. Based on an interest in small animal medicine.

My career goal is to work with small companion animals. I have an interest in small animal surgery, shelter work, and emergency medicine.
