Leonard Kater Memorial Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Fund
Established in 1983 by Mrs. Leonard Kater in memory of her husband, Leonard Kater. The Katers had a great compassion for animals and Mrs. Kater felt that supporting students with that same compassion would be a fitting tribute to her husband. The scholarship is given to a student intending to specialize in small animal medicine and who has a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above
Recipient: Kathryn Dalzell (VM2) – Colorado
My goal is to become a board certified veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon at an academic institution. Through this I hope to continue to build my skills and help teach future veterinarians.
