Established in 1985 by Dr. John G. Salsbury (ISU ’40). The award shall be conferred on those senior students demonstrating superior scholarship, initiative, perseverance and potential for leadership.

My passion for veterinary medicine comes from its connections to human health and how animals can play a role in our lives. After veterinary school, I hope to serve my community through education and medicine.
