Established in 2017 by the family of Dr. Doyle W. Simonsen, Class of 1940, in memory of their father and to honor his career in the field of veterinary medicine. Awarded to a student pursuing their DVM degree, with a GPA of 2.50 or higher, an interest in production animal medicine, and who is a graduate of an Iowa high school.

I would like to work with production animals, hopefully near my hometown in northwest IA or SD.
