Established in 2013 by Dr. George C. Christensen to help deserving students who are attracted to careers in academic veterinary medicine to become the profession’s future teachers and research scientists. Recipient must have an interest in academic veterinary medicine and a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.

I love being useful to people and helping solve their problems. I also love animals, so it’s a match made in heaven! I would love to practice rural mixed animal medicine upon graduation.
