This scholarship was established by the family of Leslie Hemmingson, DVM, a 1964 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. This scholarship supports students interested in large animal or food animal production medicine who have attended South Dakota State University or students originally from South Dakota.

I find it very satisfying to provide a service that benefits the human-animal bond. This is very special to me, and I plan to continue this in practice in western South Dakota.
