Established in 2000 by the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Association. Awarded to a full-time student from eastern Iowa who demonstrates good professional conduct and good character with an interest in general practice and who is actively engaged in college activities.

My combined passion for food animal medicine and research led me to pursue a career within veterinary medicine to improve treatment options available for veterinarians, producers and consumers alike.
