Russell G. and Lora L. Talbot Scholars in Veterinary Medicine

Established in 1998 by Russell G. and Lora L. Talbot, this scholarship program provides four-year scholarships to seven students each year based on a proven record of scholastic achievement with a minimum GPA of 2.8 and demonstrated financial need. The awards are open to graduates of Iowa high schools with first preference given to students who graduated from a high school in Wright County. The awards are renewable, provided minimum standards are maintained.

After earning my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, I plan to gain more experience in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic manipulation. I also hope to continue my involvement with Veterinarians Without Borders.
