Established in 1985 by Dr. John G. Salsbury (ISU ’40). The award shall be conferred on those senior students demonstrating superior scholarship, initiative, perseverance and potential for leadership.

I am pursuing a career in shelter medicine, specifically involving community outreach and working with underrepresented communities. While this typically involves small companion animals, I am also passionate about equine medicine.
