Scholarships & Awards
The Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine awards more than $2 million in scholarships each year to incoming, current, and graduating DVM students. These awards are made possible through the generosity of alumni, donors, and friends of the College and help reduce the cost of attendance and overall student debt.
Individual scholarship amounts range from $500 to $35,000, and some awards are renewable for multiple years. Selection criteria vary by donor intent and may include financial need, geographic background, species or career interests, academic achievement, leadership, or other characteristics.
