Dr. Leslie Hemmingson Scholarship in Veterinary Medicine

This scholarship was established by the family of Leslie Hemmingson, DVM, a 1964 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. This scholarship supports students interested in large animal or food animal production medicine who have attended South Dakota State University or students originally from South Dakota.

I am passionate about the food animal industry, especially cow-calf and feedlot medicine. I hope to serve my rural Iowa and South Dakota communities after graduation.
