Maggie’s Scholarship in Veterinary Medicine

Established in 2000 by Karen Shaff and Steven Jayne to recognize the wonderful care and support they received from the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, for their beloved companion, Maggie. In particular, they wish to mention Dr. Elizabeth Goldman and Dr. Dena Franklin, a third-year student at the time of Maggie’s care. Based on an interest in small animal medicine.

My passions in veterinary medicine include small animal and exotics medicine. I would love to pursue a specialty in canine and feline medicine or some form of exotic animal medicine in the future.
