Vivian R. Flores Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Vivian Flores family and friends. The Vivian R. Flores Memorial Scholarship was created in remembrance of a beautiful person whose life was tragically taken too soon and to serve as inspiration and provide encouragement through the hardest of life’s journeys. Through Vivian’s memorial scholarship she is able to carry on her passion for veterinary medicine and her love for helping others by providing support to students just like her. Vivian was a driven, kind, and giving individual with a love for dancing, music, children, animals, and Iowa State University. She was a senior in the Department of Animal Science with plans to continue her education with the ISU College of Veterinary Medicine. This scholarship will be awarded in celebration of Vivian’s life and legacy of lifting others up on their paths to excellence.

My goal as a veterinarian is to help others by helping their animals. I want to leave a lasting impression that ultimately leaves a positive impact on both the animals and people within my community.
